Bring what you built
Land an internship. Sunday, 20 September, Hyderabad.
An afternoon for people who build things that move. Show us one project you've made, meet other
builders, eat something. Two people will leave with a paid robotics internship.

Who we are
Hyderabad-based founders of scale.jobs, backed by Techstars. We're now building physicalstate.ai.
If you want the longer version of why we think this matters, read our thesis: Uncaging Robots That Decide.
Bring one thing
Your best project, not your whole portfolio. Bring the hardware if it fits in a bag. A two-minute phone video
or a repo works just as well. No slides.
- A robot, rover or mechanism you built that actually moved
- Firmware driving real motors: encoders, PWM, a loop you tuned
- A ROS / ROS 2 setup doing something beyond a tutorial
- Vision running on footage or sensor data you captured yourself
- A VLA or robot policy you trained and actually ran: ACT, diffusion policy, OpenVLA, SmolVLA
- A dataset you recorded off real hardware, and what you learned from it
- NVIDIA Isaac Sim or Isaac Lab training, or Isaac ROS on a Jetson, especially if you took it to real hardware
- A drone, or a 3D printed moving machine you built or seriously modified
- Something that never worked, if you can explain exactly why
- Less useful: kits built to the manual, simulation that never touched real hardware, group projects where
your part isn't clear, course certificates
The question we'll actually ask is “what broke, and how did you work out why?” A scrappy project you
understand completely beats a polished one you don't.
Where we need people
Be good at one of these. Nobody has all five, including us.
- Embedded & motorsHolding speed under load, encoders, control loops that don't miss.
- Mobile autonomyROS 2, Nav2, odometry, knowing where you are on a court.
- PerceptionTracking a fast ball and a moving person in outdoor light.
- Arms & robot learningGrasping, imitation learning, LeRobot, ACT, diffusion policies.
- Mechanical & printingCAD, 3D printing, drivetrains that survive an outdoor court.
The deal
- Two spots. That's all we have.
- Three months, paid monthly. Never unpaid.
- One subsystem is yours. A real part of a real robot, not tickets off a list.
- Your name on the build. We're doing this in the open: videos, repo, write-ups.
- A real shot at full-time if it works both ways.
- You'll need to be in Hyderabad. It's hardware; it doesn't work over a call.
Also, it's a Sunday
Food and drinks all day, a room full of people who build physical things, and a court next door with paddles on
it. The hiring happens somewhere in the middle of all that.
No forms. Just turn up.
Bring the thing you made. Bring a friend who makes things.
