Incident Abstract & Audit Findings
Despite signing an anti-weaponization pledge in 2022, Unitree robot dogs were shown armed with rifles and rocket launchers in Chinese-Cambodia joint military exercises (May 2024) and PLA propaganda videos (April 2024). A Kharon investigation revealed Unitree's ties to China's defense ecosystem run deeper than publicly acknowledged, prompting US national security concerns and proposed import bans on Chinese robot dogs.
